Thank you so much SAG! That was a real trip down memory lane!
I really enjoyed the two clips from Erasure. I remember feeling sad when Vince Clarke left Depeche Mode, but happy again when he turned up in Yaz with Alison Moyet. I wished they had stayed together longer, because they were pretty good together and I absolutely loved Alison's deep voice. It was quite distinctive compared to a lot of other women singers at the time. But then, along came Erasure and they had some pretty good poppy synth dance tunes on the charts. I had no idea they were still touring. Thanks for posting these clips (and the others too of course!) |

I hope you don't mind me posting this in your forum SAG, but just in case anyone was interested, here's Yaz performing "Don't Go" live. I'm sure you'll see why I loved the beautiful tone and strength of Alison Moyet's voice and how well Vince's simple, yet interesting, synth music complemented it.

AWESOME! I love this stuff. Now, I just have to master clicking these links while still drooling in the INXS thread. You just give me so much good krack. Thanks, SAG. And thanks for the vid, DCG. I will be watching.
